Within the Permanent Representation of Belgium, the Wallonia-Brussels General Delegation in Geneva ensures the diplomatic presence of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and Wallonia at the United Nations Office and specialised agencies in Geneva.
The General Delegate and her team are involved in monitoring the work of these organisations in the priority sectors of Belgium's French-speaking governments, including health, labour, the environment, human rights and digital technology.
The General Delegate also facilitates the hosting of artists from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in Switzerland, to contribute to French-speaking Belgium's cultural influence in the country.
